Richard Jones silent romantic comedy (based on the novel 'The Charm School' by Alice Duer Miller; about a young man who is jilted by his longtime girlfriend, and his friends want to help him get over it, so they get him a job at a charm school, where all the young ladies are crazy about him, but he can't get over his former love) starring Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, Mary Brian, William Austin, Jack Oakie (in his fourth credited movie role!), James Kirkwood, Mary Alden, and Frank Reicher. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1928 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a French lobby card from this movie (and nothing else) until we received this lobby card! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! The new owner of this card will find it hard to believe that the card was not recently created, but we assure you it is 100% original from 1928, even though it has survived so amazingly well!
