Likely, that is because the movie received a re-release in 1945, and whatever original paper remained was used or disposed of at that time. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the bottom crossfold and tiny paper loss at the top two crossfolds. It had some small tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical fold. There were pinholes and tears around the edges. There was something on the back of the bottom right of the poster (on the back of the "GUIT" of "GUITARS"), and it was removed from the back (probably a sticker), and it caused some surface paper loss on the back of the poster in that area, but it did not have much effect on the front. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
