An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Jumbo Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Another Dawn, the 1937 William Dieterle British-in-Africa Sahara Desert romantic love triangle adventure melodrama (based on the story The Ambassador's Wife by W. Somerset Maugham; the old story of the wife of a pilot who falls in love with his best friend, and they are both too decent to do anything about it, so the husband volunteers for a suicide mission so that the lovers can be together!) starring Kay Francis, Errol Flynn, Ian Hunter, Frieda Inescort, Herbert Mundin, and G.P. Huntley
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that while the studios made jumbo window cards for almost every title throughout the 1930s and 1940s, it appears that next-to-no theaters ordered them, because very few of them survive from ANY 1930s or 1940s movies.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded across the middle and there are creases along that fold. It has nail holes around the edges and a crease along the top and bottom 1 1/2". It is lightly rippled near the foldlines. Its defects are mostly in the borders, and it will display great just as it is, or certainly it can be paperbacked and made to look perfect!
