Springsteen jail prison escape convict crime thriller ("The raging violence of 2000 caged men!") starring Gene Evans, Robert 'Bobby' Blake, Timothy Carey, John Qualen, Sam Edwards, and John Dennis. Note that this movie instructed the public in "convict-made weapons", which included "shivs" (homemade knives), revolvers ("made out of wood or soap"), and metal whips (a chain covered with heavy leather). The producers of the movie urged theater owners to make some of these "convict-made weapons" and display them in their window or lobby! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
