A Set of 2 Original Vintage Theatrical English Movie Glass Slide (measures 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" [4 x 14 cm]). Also included is a booklet that has 4 pages. (Learn More) Santa's Workshop, the 1932 Wilfred Jackson Walt Disney Silly Symphonies animated animation cartoon short ("Mickey Mouse presents a Walt Disney Silly Symphony"; "In TECHNICOLOR!"). Note that this cartoon has a wonderful Christmas theme, and that Walt Disney went all out to create a fantastic one-sheet that shows a very jolly Santa and three of his elves buried in letters they received from children with their Christmas wishes! I have never seen or heard of another example of this wonderful poster! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a wonderful set of two 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" English glass slides for this 1932 Disney cartoon. They come in a printed box along with a 4-page booklet telling all about the cartoon, and the box has a wonderful color front cover with art of Santa and his reindeer. We previously auctioned a similar set of 4 English glass slides, which had "produced with permission of WALTER E. DISNEY", which makes us pretty certain that set was from 1930 or extremely soon afterwards. This set is from 1932. The slides were made by Ensign Ltd of London "By arrangement with Walt Disney Mickey Mouse, Ltd.". We are also currently auctioning a wonderful set of four English glass slides from The Big Bad Wolf in a separate auction. Condition: very good to fine. One of the flaps of the box has slight paper loss, but otherwise, the box is in nice condition. The two slides are in very nice condition (see our images, and note that we both photographed and scanned each of the two glass slides that have six images each, so don't be confused because there are two images of each one)!
