Date Sold 9/15/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Little Miss Thoroughbred, the 1938 John Farrow adorable juvenile horse racing gambling melodrama ("From the story by Albert Demond"; about an orphan girl who wants a gambler to adopt her) starring John Litel, Ann Sheridan, Frank McHugh, Janet Chapman (in the title role), and Eric Stanley. Note that Janet Chapman was six years old and she got a big break with the lead part in this movie. But her career never really took off, and after appearing in 15 movies, mostly in tiny roles as children, she retired at the age of 14. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The cards have darkened somewhat (typical of Warner Brothers lobby cards printed on a "linen" paper during this time period.) The card pictured at upper left has a few tears along portions of the lower edge with some paper loss at lower right. Each has a few tiny tears around the borders, but they are not very fragile.
