An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Swedish Movie Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 35") (Learn More)

The Call of the North, the 1921 Joseph Henabery silent Canada fur trading family relationship romantic melodrama ("From the novel 'Conjuror's House' by Stewart Edward White and the play by George Broadhurst") starring Jack Holt, Madge Bellamy, Noah Beery Sr., Francis McDonald, and Edward Martindel. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: This Swedish poster measures 23 1/4" x 35" and is linenbacked.

Condition: very good. This poster was well restored, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).

very good. The poster had minor fold wear. There were creases across the poster 3" below the top foldline. There was a long tear in the middle left of the poster that was very neatly mended. There were tears above the title area (again, very neatly mended).
