An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Theodora Goes Wild, the 1936 Richard Boleslawski romantic comedy ("Gayest entertainment of the year!"; "Riotous romantic comedy!"; about a small town proper teacher who decides to write a romance novel, and when it becomes a best seller, she goes to New York and has many adventures) starring Irene Dunne (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Theodora Lynn), Melvyn Douglas, Thomas Mitchell, Thurston Hall, Rosalind Keith, Spring Byington, and Henry Kolker NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. Someone cut out the bottom blank area where a theater would put its show dates and wrote in new play dates in the resulting blank area (this is not that uncommon with glass slides).
