Auer New York City corrupt politics TV commentator crime thriller ("Panic seizes a nation"; a very timely story, about a TV commentator who goes after a bunch of corrupt New York City public officials; on election day, the crooked politicians put false TV broadcasts on that make it appear that a tidal wave will be destroying Manhattan, so that few people but their cronies vote!; interestingly, the movie uses footage from the 1933 disaster epic, "Deluge", for their fake TV footage!) starring Ralph Byrd, George Barbier, Kay Sutton, Frank Jenks, and Marc Lawrence NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
