A 1970 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Fearless Frank (also released as "Frank's Greatest Adventure"), the 1967 Philip Kaufman super hero fantasy comedy starring Jon Voight (in the title role as "Fearless Frank"), Monique van Vooren, Severn Darden, Joan Darling, and Lou Gilbert. Note that this movie was released by "Trans American", which was the "adult" releasing arm of AIP (American International Pictures). Also, note that this was one of two movies Jon Voight appeared in prior to "Midnight Cowboy". One was "Hour of the Gun", where he had a minor role, and the other was this movie, where he was the star. In between those two movies, he had appeared in a bunch of TV episodes. Once "Midnight Cowboy" became a huge success in 1969, the distributors of this forgotten movie re-released it to theaters in 1970, billing Voight as "that star of 'Midnight Cowboy' rides again...", with a giant image of Voight in a super hero costume. Finally, note that while this movie is completely forgotten, both Jon Voight and director Philip Kaufman went on to long distinguished careers!
