Hymer"; "Songs and lyrics by Wolfe Gilbert and Abel Baer"; about an Italian immigrant in New York City just before World War I; he falls in love with a beautiful girl, but then returns to Italy when his father gets sick, and he ends up fighting for Italy and is blinded; after the war, he returns to New York, but the girl thought he was dead and married someone else; a doctor operates on him, and he can see again, and the girl is ready to tell her husband that she is leaving him, but he is noble and moves away!) starring George Jessel (major Jewish actor/singer of the 1920s who starred in The Jazz Singer on Broadway, but who was passed over for the lead role in the movie version, which made Al Jolson a movie superstar), Lila Lee, David Rollins, Henry Kalker, Kenneth MacKenna, and John Loder. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There is a pinhole and creases in the left of Jessel's nose, and a similar one to the left of the director's credit. There are a few small pinholes in the blank borders. There is a drawing on the back of the card, but it does not affect the front. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
