An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures approximately 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) the 1950s Belgian stock poster for use by theaters showing cowboy western movies starring Roy Rogers. Theaters would order these posters which had a large blank area. Sometimes the studio would overprint the stock poster with the title of a specific movie, and sometimes they were sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, so the theater could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. Most collectors consider them more valuable with a printed snipe attached, or with an overprinted snipe area. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair.
