What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss along all the folds, and someone had put tape on the back of all those areas. There was also paper loss in Trevor's chin and the area below it, and someone put tape on the back of that area. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. A really talented linenbacker did a wonderful job in restoring this poster. It displays really well, and they preserved the autograph , and most people would have no sense of the extent of the restoration. However, it IS a heavily restored poster, so bear that in mind before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
