An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Christmas in July, the classic 1940 Preston Sturges romantic screwball comedy (about a lowly office worker who is deceived into believing he has won a major contest and he quits his job and goes on a spending spree, but he really hasn't won, but everything magically works out in the end!) starring Dick Powell, Ellen Drew, Raymond Walburn, William Demarest, Ernest Truex, and Al Bridge. If you like Preston Sturges movies, you are certain to really like this one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: The slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides. When we auction slides that have a cardboard holder, we provide a separate image of how the cardboard holder looks, but when we auction slides with the black tape (like this one) we only provide the scan of the glass slide image, because that really is about all there is to see. Condition: good to very good. There is a small crack in the bottom left corner of both panes of the slide, but they are both solely in the border areas, and are both covered partially by the black tape. The slide is not fragile at all, and the cracks are not significant, and other than play dates written in the play date area, the slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
