An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More)

Sam Peckinpah's Straw Dogs, the classic 1971 (released in the U.S. in 1972) Sam Peckinpah English/U.S. ultra violent rape revenge crime thriller ("Special Notice : 'Straw Dogs' unleashes such dramatic intensity that this theatre is scheduling a 5-minute interval between all performances"; "The knock at the door meant the birth of a man and the death of seven others."; based on the novel 'The Siege of Trencher's Farm' by Gordon M. Williams) starring Dustin Hoffman, Susan George ("as Amy"), Del Henney, Peter Vaughan, and T.P. McKenna. Note that this movie was VERY controversial when it first came out. Many felt that it glorified violence and that it pretty overtly implied that a man isn't a "real man" until he kills a few people!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been graded and authenticated by mpgrading.com. This means that a corner of the poster has been "encrypted with a unique 9-digit serial number with invisible DNA-laced ink", which can be seen with a special scanner, and this info has been attached to a separate Certificate of Authenticity. On that certificate, the poster has been given a grade of "Fine (7)", but of course, that grading scale is not the same as ours (see below). Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. There is tape on the front and back of the corners of the poster and there is an extra horizontal fold across the poster at upper center from it being oddly folded at one time. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
