An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Downhill Racer, the 1969 Michael Ritchie Winter Olympics skiing sports melodrama ("How fast must a man go to get from where he's at?"; "Written by James Salter"; based on the novel by Oakley Hall) starring Robert Redford, Gene Hackman, Camilla Sparv, Joe Jay Jalbert, and Tom J. Kirk. Note that early publicity items on this movie refer to it as "The Downhill Racer", yet we have never seen any poster reference it as anything other than "Downhill Racer".

Condition: very good. 1 1/2" "u" shaped tear in the black background at upper left (repaired with tape from the back); paper loss in the upper right blank corner (see the image at right); bottom 1" of the poster folded back at one time; some creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines); minor separation at each crossfold and at some of the ends of the foldlines (repaired with tape from the back)
