An Original 1957 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Folded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 22 3/4" x 33 1/2" [58 x 85 cm]) (Learn More) Sen-hime (released in English-speaking countries as "The Princess Sen"), the 1954 Keigo Kimura Japanese historical melodrama (set in 17th century Japan, based on historical fact, about a princess who is besieged in her castle by an attacking force led by her own grandfather) starring Machiko Kyo (in the title role as Sen-hime/Princess Sen), Kenji Sugawara, Shinobu Araki, Chieko Higashiyama, and Raizo Ichikawa NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Marian Stachurski Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster is somewhat brittle and it is completely separated along the top half of the vertical fold (repaired with tape from the back at the crossfold and top 4" of the vertical fold). There are some 1" and smaller tears and areas of tattering around the edges of the poster that have been neatly repaired with tape from the back and some black marker from the front.
