Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Revenge of the Creature, the 1955 Jack Arnold Universal monster Florida horror science fiction (sci-fi) 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) sequel ("Terror is loose in the city!"; "Weird Monster escapes! Terror seizes city!"; "All New Thrills! Shock! Suspense!"; "Monster Escapes!"; "City flees in Terror!"; "Here at last! New thrill wonder 3-D Horrorscope!") starring John Agar, Lori Nelson, John Bromfield, Nester Paiva, Ricou Browning (who played the Gill Man underwater), Tom Hennesy (who played the Gill Man on land), Clint Eastwood (in his big screen [speaking] debut in a bit part as a lab assistant), Brett Halsey, and Flippy the Porpoise. Note that this movie was released in 3-D, but most first release U.S. posters don't bother to mention that (perhaps because the 3-D craze was dying down). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card is part of an amazing collection of 132 horror/sci-fi lobby cards (our items #5040 through #5171). Included are 121 title cards from 1950 to 1964, including just about every horror/sci-fi movie made during that period, including all of the most famous titles! Also included is all seven scene cards from "The Day the Earth Stood Still", and a great scene card from "House of Wax". The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these lobby cards will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Also note that we have listed these lobby cards in strict alphabetical order. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare lobby cards that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: good to very good. approximately 1" of paper loss in the lower right edge of the card (repaired with paper and clear tape from the front and back) as well as paper loss in the top blank corners (repaired with paper and tape from the back); lower right corner of the card (extending into the image background) was torn away at one time (now held in place with tape from the back) 1 1/4" tear in the upper center edge as well as a 1/2" tear in the lower right edge of the card; minor smudges, scuffs, and creases throughout the card (mostly around the edges); This card is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are basically minor and most are around the edges of the card. I would think most collectors would be happy with this card, or of course, any talented restorer could repair the defects without a lot of restoration. Learn More about condition grades
