An Original Vintage Linenbacked Austrian Advertising Poster (measures 27 1/4" x 38 3/4" [69 x 98 cm]) (Learn More)

Abendkleider-und Maskenleihanstalt (literally translates to "Evening Clothes and Dress Rental"), the 1920 Austrian poster advertising evening gowns and masks. The poster features great artwork of a man and two sexy women at a masked costume ball. Perhaps this poster advertised an actual costume ball, or more likely it might have advertised an Austrian maker of costumes. If anyone knows more about this poster, please email us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded and had a 2" tear near the center of the top border and a few creases and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
