eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 4t086 GEORGE C. SCOTT signed playbill '91 when he appeared on stage in On Borrowed Time! Date Sold 12/22/2013Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Autographed Stage Play Playbill (measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" [14 x 22 cm]; 72 pages) (Learn More) George C. Scott was an actor from the 1950s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Dr. Strangelove, Patton (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as General Patton; Scott refused the award, stating he didn't feel himself to be in competition with other actors!), The Hustler, and Anatomy of a Murder. Scott passed away in 1999 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by George C. Scott! Our consignor (who was a diplomat for the U.S. in exotic locations) obtained this autograph through personal correspondence with Mr. Scott (she asked him to send her a signed playbill, and he agreed to do so). Many of the people she corresponded with specifically mentioned that they were impressed by her exotic address and they seem to write longer responses because of that! Condition: fair to good. The cover of the playbill is stained, and there is paper loss down the right side, but fortunately, it completely missed Scott's autograph (but it did affect the "Best" he wrote above it). The first half of the playbill is water stained in the right side (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
