Seiter San Francisco California seafaring sailor shipyard romantic comedy (a REALLY dated story with lots of unfortunate stereotypes; a worker on a steamer falls in love with the daughter of a tugboat captain, and he wants to marry her; the father is opposed, because he hates that his daughter is around the waterfront, but then the worker tells the father he wants to take her to the country and live a simple country life, so the father helps the worker kidnap his own daughter, and after being forced to peel potatoes, she comes to realize they did it for her own good) starring Dorothy Mackaill, Jack Mulhall, James Bradbury Sr., Knute Erickson, and Ben Hendricks Jr. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
