A Linenbacked Dutch Art Exhibition Poster (measures 33" x 46 1/2" [84 x 118 cm]) (Learn More) 2 Stenberg 2, the 1998 Dutch poster ("Stenberg brothers, constructing a revolution in Soviet design") promoting an art exhibition of the works of Vladimir Stenberg and Georgii Stenberg which was held from May 16th to July 12th at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Note that the Stenberg brothers were Russian avant-garde Soviet artists and designers, best known for designing film posters. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a very few scuffs in the silver areas. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
