Artist: Roger Soubie Condition: good. The poster had darkened somewhat and had some faint water stains scattered throughout, more so in the borders and in the light colored areas. There was a triangular area of paper loss at the right of the top horizontal fold, entirely in the blank border. There were some areas of paper loss at several crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. You can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects from any viewing distance.
