An Original 1956 (from the first Argentinean release of this movie) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More) Le due verita (released in the U.S. as "The Temptress", literally translates to "The Two Truths"), the 1951 Antonio Leonviola Italian/French film noir crime mystery thriller (sort of a combination of "Rashomon" and "An American Tragedy", about a man on trial for killing his mistress, only he didn't actually kill her, but he wanted to, and the movie is told in flashback, and you see multiple versions of the same events) starring Michel Simon, Anna-Maria Ferrero, Michel Auclair, Ruggero Ruggeri, and Valentine Tessier. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Osvaldo Venturi Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold wear. The blank borders of the poster were neatly trimmed off. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, and the restorer re-created the missing blank borders.
