An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) It Came from Outer Space, the classic 1953 Jack Arnold 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("An avalanche in your lap!"; "A helicopter over your head!"; "A space ship zooms at you!"; "3-Dimension excitement that can almost touch you!"; "From Ray Bradbury's great science fiction story!"; "Thrills that almost Touch You! Through the magic of 3-Dimension"; "Excitement that can almost touch you"; "Amazing sights the human eye has never seen before!"; "3-Dimension fantastic sights leap at you!"; "Fantastic sights leap at you! In 3-Dimension"; "Amazing! Exciting! Spectacular!"; "Terror in 3-D"; "Startling! Artist: Joseph Smith Important Added Info: Note that there are two different variations of this poster. One of them has the "3-D" at top left colored in yellow, and also all of the letters of the title. The other is exactly the same as that poster, but the yellow is missing from the letters (and perhaps from the entire poster). Otherwise, the posters are exactly the same, including the NSS information at bottom. My personal belief is that there were two different print runs of this poster, and that one print run did not use the yellow, for unknown reasons (perhaps the answer could be as simple as them running out of yellow ink!). Please be aware of these two variations, and only bid on this poster if you wish to own this variation. If anyone knows more about this odd printing situation, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. The poster never had a snipe over the "3-D" area. It had pinholes around the edges (some enlarged from removal, and with a few tears caused the same way). Someone put clear tape on the front or back of those areas, and they also put a 3" piece of clear tape on the back of the top of the vertical foldline (in the "E" of "DIMENSION"), and there also was a tear in the top of the "UT" in "OUTER" in the title, and they put two pieces of clear tape on the back of that tear. The clear tape on the front and back is noticeable (but not very distracting). There were also some stamps on the back from someone who once owned the poster, and someone put white-out over those areas (there were five of those stamps and each one measures around 1/4" x 2". In spite of the above defects, the poster can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, and certainly, it would not be a major restoration job for a professional to linenback this poster, and afterward it ill look fantastic!
