Dr. Syntax at Liverpool, the 1819 English art print created and etched by Thomas Rowlandson, depicting art of the character in the northwestern England town. Note that Dr. Syntax was featuring in a series of poems that satirized William Gilpin, written by William Combe.

Important Added Info: Note that someone took this art print (which may be a page from a book, perhaps from 1819, the date printed on it) and had it nicely matted, and it can be framed and displayed!
