Note that the horse Roy Rogers rode in the movie was his regular companion, Trigger, but because this was not a "Roy Rogers" movie, he could not be billed! Important Added Info: Note that first release 1938 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned this one-sheet once before (and no other posters or lobby cards), and that was 23 years ago, when it sold for $1,610! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny bits of paper loss, creases, and some scuffs along parts of many folds, with a diagonal scratch running from the bottom of the "H" of "THE", into the top right of the "U" of "RETURNS". It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
