Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this German window card, which is a "country of origin" poster for this German movie! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" [22 x 32 cm]. Of course, ANY German poster of any kind from before World War II is incredibly rare, because their paper shortages were even greater than those of other countries, and hardly any paper of any kind from before World War II survives (and in addition to shortages, items associated with the Nazi era were often destroyed for that reason). This is one of a remarkable group of 15 1930s German window cards we were consigned, which we are currently auctioning in 15 separate auctions. After these auctions have ended, it might be years before we even get one or two more of these. Finally, note that this German window card is printed on a heavy paper stock that cannot be rolled.
