An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Russian Movie Poster (measures 24 1/4" x 40 3/4" [62 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Polosatyy Reys (released in English-speaking countries as "Striped Load" and "Striped Trip"), the 1961 Vladimir Fetin Russian tiger lion big cat family action adventure comedy (about several tigers, a lion, a chimp and a monkey running loose on a cruise ship) starring Aleksei Gribov, Ivan Dmitriyev, Margarita Nazarova (the famous tiger tamer), Evgeni Leonov, and Vladimir Belokurov. Note that the idea of a movie with Margarita Nazarova originated when Russian leader Nikita Khrushchev met her and wondered why she hadn't been cast in a movie yet. The movie was very well received and was the Soviet box office leader for 1961.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Russian movie! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was hand-folded (typical of nearly all Russian posters of this time period.) It has a few light creases and pinholes around the edges and is otherwise in generally nice condition.
