An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Next Time I Marry, the 1938 Garson Kanin inheritance romantic love triangle comedy (a variation on "It Happened One Night", with Lucille Ball a rich heiress whose father was afraid she would marry a foreigner, so he left in his will that she had to marry a "plain American", so she hires a working man to marry her, but she then wants to divorce him, and they both race to get to Reno so that they can be the one to file for divorce first, but naturally, they find true love in the end!) starring Lucille Ball, James Ellison, Lee Bowman, Mantan Moreland, and Granville Bates. Note that director Garson Kanin is best known today as a screenwriter, but he took that up as a third career, after having been an actor in the early 1930s and a director in the late 1930s, including this movie. Also note that Lucille Ball became a star after her supporting role in "Stage Door" in 1937, and this was one of several starring roles she had the following year!
