Artist: Tom William Chantrell Important Added Info: Note that there has been much discussion in the movie poster hobby as to whether most of the style C "Star Wars" posters that exist (almost all of which do NOT have a rating box) were actually printed in 1977, or whether they were printed at a later date. Some people say that the posters were only printed for use in other countries (and were never printed in the U.S. in 1977), which is why they have no ratings box. But a very few one-sheets WITH the PG rating have been discovered over the years, which seems to negate that argument, because obviously at least some of the posters were intended to have a rating. This auction is for the very rare style C one-sheet that DOES have the PG rating on it. Note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few creases in a small area at upper right that mostly affect the blank border, and there is a small "v-shaped" tear in the bottom center blank border.
