He is best known for his role on TV's "Gilligan's Island" as the Skipper. Some of his movies include: Hang 'em High, The Giant Spider Invasion. Note that his father was the famous 1930s and 1940s actor Alan Hale Sr. (who appeared mostly in Warner Bros. movies, often with Errol Flynn), and he bore a remarkable resemblance to his father! He passed away in 1990 at the age of 68. Important Added Info: Note that this contract has been personally autographed (signed) by Alan Hale Jr.! Our consignor purchased this signed item from a major auction house, but they did not provide him with a certificate of authenticity. Note that the contract has Mr. Hale's social security number on it, and we have placed a white box over that number in our image, but of course, the actual item does not have that white box. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
