An Original Vintage Theatrical One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Princess O'Rourke, the 1943 Norman Krasna mistaken identity royalty/commoner romantic comedy (about a princess in Washington, D.C. whose uncle wants her to marry an American of importance, but she ends up romantically involved with the pilot who flies her around, but he mistakenly thinks she is a maid) starring Olivia De Havilland (in the title role as Princess Maria), Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), Charles Coburn, Jack Carson, Jane Wyman, and Frank Puglia. Note that at the end of the movie, there is an appearance by FDR, the President at the time. Some people think the real President consented to be in the movie in a cameo role, and others think it was an FDR impersonator. Everyone seems to agree that the President's dog Fala was played by the real Fala!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been professionally mounted to an acid-free paper backing, but it is not "paperbacked" in the modern sense, because there is no Japanese rice paper between the poster and the backing. This was done to keep the poster safe and make it really flat for framing, but the poster can still be rolled and sent in a tube, and the backing is easily reversible by any restorer, if the new owner chooses (and of course, the poster can be immediately framed!).

Condition: good to very good. Prior to being backed on the paper, the poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some brown dot stains around the edges. Slight restoration was performed to the foldlines, but nowhere else.
