The fair was primarily intended for wholesale negotiations and large-scale deals based on samples, but initially retailers could also participate. The World War II (WWII) cancellation of the fair in 1942 was justified by propaganda that "the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia is involved in the enormous war effort of the Greater German Empire". Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned ANY of these Czech place cards! These are cool recreations of Czech ads for this trade fair from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s that we believe were created in the 1940s. If anyone knows more about these, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
