An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81") (Learn More)

Violent Road, the 1958 Howard W. Koch moving-of-explosives-over-treacherous-roads adventure thriller ("Warner's launches the year's rocket entertainment sensation!"; "17,000 mile-an-hour thrills! Here's what goes into the rockets now going up!"; "--to ride the load he rode you had to be more than a man!"; "Story by Don Martin"; about a team of truckers hauling a tank of extremely explosive rocket fuel on a dangerous route) starring Brian Keith, Dick Foran, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Merry Anders, and Sean Garrison. Note that this movie was a re-make of the French classic, "The Wages of Fear" (much later re-made by William Friedkin as "Sorcerer"). Apparently, the producers of the movie were afraid to reveal the subject matter, as the advertising made much reference of "rocket entertainment" and "17,000 mile-an-hour thrills", as though the movie had something to do with rockets, when actually the only connection was that the men were transferring rocket FUEL over mountain roads!
