An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #2 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (released in other English-speaking countries as "Abbott and Costello Meet the Ghosts"), the 1948 Charles T. Barton monster horror spoof comedy ("It's a grand New idea for Fun!"; the eighth Universal Frankenstein movie, and this time they added their #1 comedy team to both liven up the series, and to inject comedy; many people fondly remember this as their favorite of the 1940s Frankenstein movies!; "Jeepers! The Creepers are after Bud and Lou!"; "The laughs are MONSTERous! Bud and Lou are in a stew when they tangle with the Titans of Terror!"; "The monsters of menace vs the masters of Mirth!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Lon Chaney Jr. ("The Wolf Man played by Lon Chaney"), Bela Lugosi (returning as Dracula after being long absent from the role; "Dracula played by Bela Lugosi"), Glenn Strange (in the title role, playing the Frankenstein monster; "The Monster played by Glenn Strange"), Lenore Aubert, Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson, Charles Bradstreet, and Vincent Price (in a cute cameo, as the voice of The Invisible Man at the end of the movie!) Condition: good to very good. lots of pinholes around the edges of the card; two horizontal scratches in the top left of the image area extending through Lugosi's face with surface paper loss to the left of the scratches; faint scuff marks across the top of the image (most noticeable in the solid background areas), and a few fine scuff marks in other parts of the image. Of course, a talented restorer could greatly improve the appearance of this fine card, but please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is or are willing to pay to have it restored!
