An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Lightning Speed, the 1928 Robert North Bradbury romantic newspaper journalism crime melodrama ("Another of Bob's lightning action adventure series!"; produced by William Le Baron; about a reporter who discovers that a gangster is blackmailing the governor to try to get someone pardoned, and the gangster kidnaps the governor's daughter and takes off with her in a hot-air balloon, and the reporter manages to rescue the girl and knock the gangster out of the balloon to his death!) starring Bob Steele, Mary Mayberry, Perry Murdock, Barney Furey, and William Welsh. Note that the movie was both directed and written by Robert North Bradbury, who was Bob Steele's father! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a one-sheet, two scene lobby cards, and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card has slightly darkened in three borders. Otherwise, the card is in really nice condition.
