An Original English Travel Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 40" [62 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) North Eastern Railway: Historic York, the 1910 English railroad railway train travel poster ("The threshold of England's best holiday ground"; "Circular tours and cheap tickets in all directions"; "Experienced guides to the city of York can be arranged for by communicating with the Chief Passenger Agent, Publicity Department, North Eastern Railway, York, who will also furnish all information as to facilities, etc., on application") encouraging people to use the North Eastern Railway when visiting the city of York, England. Note that this poster features art of an armored knight holding a lance while astride a horse. Artist: JC Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster was never folded. It had a few creases and scuffs around the edges, with a stain in the left of the bottom border and a diagonal crease in the bottom right corner. Someone had the poster backed onto a very thin rice paper with no excess, surely for preservation purposes, and it displays really well! Learn More about condition grades
