An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Bad One, the 1930 George Fitzmaurice romantic musical melodrama ("All Talking"; a clever pre-Code movie, about a sailor who meets a dancer/prostitute in Marseilles, and he marries her, but one of her former clients starts a fight, and the sailor kills him, and is sentenced to Devil's Island; the only way his wife can join him is to be a guard's wife, so she marries a really mean guard, which gets her on the island with her husband!; the movie surprisingly has a happy ending with the sailor getting pardoned after helping stop a riot, and he and his wife return to her home country of England!) starring Dolores Del Rio, Edmund Lowe, Don Alvarado, Blanche Frederici, and Adrienne D'Ambricourt NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card has slightly darkened. There is a faint smudge in Del Rio's hand. There is a small tear in the left of the top blank border that was repaired with tape from the back. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition.
