Important Added Info: Note that this screenplay was written by Edward L. Alperson Jr. Included with the script is a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" memo sheet from Edward Alperson to Fred Amsel, saying how "Sword of Monte Cristo" could be remade as a movie or as a TV series. We don't know Mr. Alperson was sending a 1951 script to Fred, or if it was newly created in the 1980s or so, when the memo was sent.
