An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Grounds for Divorce, the 1925 Paul Bern silent romantic love triangle legal lawyer comedy melodrama (about a celebrated divorce attorney who neglects his wife, and when he starts an affair with a famous actress, his wife has had enough and seeks a divorce on her own) starring Florence Vidor, Matt Moore, Harry Myers, Louise Fazenda, and George Beranger. Note that this movie was directed by Paul Bern, who, in one of Hollywood's most bizarre episodes ever (which is saying a lot!), married the much young Jean Harlow in 1932 and then shot himself after their honeymoon, apologizing for "a frightful wrong" in a suicide note! It has been rumored that he was actually murdered, and the suicide was a coverup by MGM "fixers"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single still from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the left corners and pinholes in the right corners, with some stains and smudges in the bottom border.
