An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Springtime in the Rockies, the 1942 Irving Cummings romantic musical ("Lyrics and Music by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren") starring Betty Grable, John Payne, Carmen Miranda, Cesar Romero, Harry James (billed as "Harry James and His Music Makers"), Charlotte Greenwood, and Edward Everett Horton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds. There were creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss to the right and above the top crossfold and some tears alongside the vertical foldline down parts of the entire vertical foldline. There were extra folds and some tears and tiny paper loss alongside the top and bottom foldlines. There was a pinhole in Romero's cheek at top left and some creases, smudges, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see some signs of the defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that the restorer left a tiny bit of excess linen around all four sides of the poster (they left a small border in order to protect the poster from handling damage, but they did not leave a larger border to allow it to more easily fit in a frame) Learn More about condition grades
