An Original Vintage Folded Russian Circus Poster (measures 14 3/4" x 24" [37 x 61 cm]) (Learn More)

Brothers Brendi, the circa 1920s Russian circus poster ("The original roller scating [sic] acrobatic act") promoting an acrobatics act by the Brothers Brendi. Note that this poster features art of the entertainers performing various acrobatic feats. If anyone knows more about this poster or the performers, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this poster! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Note that this poster is one of a collection of 36 similar posters that we were consigned (and are currently auctioning in 36 separate auctions). They include Russian, Uzbek, Ukranian, and Latvian posters, and some of them are movie posters, and others are circus posters, with a few other kinds of posters. All of these posters are incredibly rare, and on the vast majority of them, we have never auctioned them before, and it may be many years before we auction any of them again. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these posters, all of which have very striking images!

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. There is a small dot stain in the left of the lower left inset image, in the background area, and one in the left blank border. Otherwise, the poster is in nice condition!
