An Unfolded French Advertising Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 33 1/2" [62 x 85 cm]) (Learn More) Jam est et Restera Toujours la Meillieure (literally translates to "Jam Is and Always Will Be The Best"), the 1925 French advertising poster promoting a brand of chimney cowl from a Belgian iron works, and featuring art of a couple walking past two houses with chimneys billowing smoke, but only the one with the Jam cowl is working correctly. Artist: Justin Clerice Condition: good to very good. There are a few creases and small tears of varying lengths around the edges of the poster and there is some slight discoloration in a few small portions of the left edge. There are two tiny areas of paper loss at left (one is to the upper right of "JAM" and one is in the center of the art of the cowl near what appears to be a handle). Most of the defects affect the blank borders and after a relatively simple linenbacking with some restoration the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
