An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Pals of the Saddle, the 1938 George Sherman cowboy western ("Based on the characters created by William Colt MacDonald") starring The Three Mesquiteers (John Wayne, Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, and Max Terhune), Doreen McKay, Joseph Forte, George Douglas, and Elmer (Max Terhune's ventriloquist dummy!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster has darkened slightly in the right border, with some staining in the extreme right edge of the right border. There are pinholes in the blank borders. There is 3" of separation at the top crossfold, with tiny paper loss and 1" of separation at the other two folds. There are a few tiny tears in the vertical fold between the middle and bottom crossfolds. The back of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded (which is the right portion above the middle fold) has some staining on the back, but it does not affect the front. Other than the above, the poster is in nice condition, and it has never had any restoration or tape on the front or back. This great poster can be displayed and enjoyed just as it is, and certainly it can be linenbacked, and it will look incredible and require virtually no paint restoration!
