An Original Vintage Movie Projector Instruction Manual (measures 6" x 9"; 63 pages) (Learn More) Illuminating Engineering Bureau, the 1923 Westinghouse Lamp Company motion picture Mazda lamp projection manual featuring information, instructions and many black & white images and illustrations of projectors, their parts, and the installation of Mazda lamps. In the 1910s and 1920s, movie theaters would buy the latest projectors, because theatergoers quickly went to the theaters that had the best ones, because they showed the movies far better than those with older projectors. Of the most importance was the bulb (at the time called a "lamp") within the projector, because the brighter the bulb, the better the audience could view the picture, but the bulbs gave off heat, and if handled incorrectly, started fires! So a book like this was extremely important to movie theaters in the 1920s, so they could properly install and maintain the Mazda lamps in the projectors. If anyone knows more about this manual, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There is some wear on the cover of the book. Learn More about condition grades
