Join the Transportation Service, the 1952 U.S. poster produced by the Federal Civil Defense Administration, encouraging citizens to join the Transportation Service (which was an aspect of the Civil Defense), and featuring Lester Green art of a woman truck driver helping other Civil Defense members near a burning building. The United States Civil Defense was an organized non-military effort to prepare Americans for military attack. Over the last few decades, the term and practice of civil defense have fallen into disuse and have been replaced by emergency management and homeland security.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some minor creases and tiny tears along portions of some edges but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition!
