An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded International Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Alien, the classic 1979 Ridley Scott English/U.S. science fiction (sci-fi) space monster horror action thriller ("In space no one can hear you scream."; "a word of warning..."; "Story by Dan O'Bannon & Ronald Shusett") starring Tom Skerritt (as Dallas), Sigourney Weaver (as Ripley), Veronica Cartwright (as Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (as Brett), John Hurt (as Kane), Ian Holm (as Ash), Yaphet Kotto ("as Parker"), and Bolaji Badejo (in the title role as the Alien). Note that fantasy artist H.R. Giger did the wonderful art that was used to create the alien and the alien planet, but his art was not used on any of the regular posters, only on special prints created after the movie became a hit! Important Added Info: This three-sheet poster was tri-folded only (which means there is one less vertical machine fold than usual). This means the poster has a significantly lesser number of folds than with three-sheets folded in the "regular" way, which is nice! Tri-folded three-sheets need to be sent in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 16" x 38", so they cost more to send than regularly folded three-sheets. This three-sheet was printed in 1 section. Also note that this is an "international" style three-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and NSS information. Condition: very good. The poster was apparently used in a theater, and there are many tiny creases and some tiny tears along most of the vertical foldlines. They are truly not very noticeable or distracting at all. Similarly, there are some light creases throughout the poster. There is a 1/2" tear in the top of the left vertical foldline and a 1" tear in the top of the middle vertical foldline.
