An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27 1/4" x 37 1/4" [69 x 95 cm]) (Learn More) La Princesa Hippie (literally translates to "The Hippie Princess"), the 1969 Miguel Morayta Mexican/Spanish hippie musical comedy (about a man who is ordered to kill one of a queen's newborn daughters, but instead moves to Mexico and raises her as his granddaughter) starring Pilar Bayona, Emilia Bayona (in the title role as Princess Marciana; Pilar and Emilia are billed together as "Pili and Mili"), Enrique Guzman, Carlos Pinar, Guillermo Orea, and Chela Najera. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Mexican movie! Condition: good. The poster has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges and folds (see our image). This Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great, but it might require fairly extensive restoration).
