A gripping story! Artist: Bos Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had a fold along the bottom of the top blank area and a fold across the middle of the poster, with minor wear on the folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but someone chose to frame the poster and fold the top blank area back before framing, and in doing so, they created a crease along that blank area and also caused surface paper loss in the top of the blank area when they taped it to the back of the mat (see our image).
